Domino Park is a microcosm of New York City in a few-blockstretch. For people watchers, park users represent every aspect of the city’s wonderful, unmelted pot; children play in the dramatic playground, adults bask in the sun and view. Photographers interested in architecture or the built environment will appreciate the interplay between the area’s old architectural and industrial structures and new construction. Those who want to shoot natural light or landscape, the movement of clouds, reflections, and artificial lights can create images that are sometimes subtle and sometimes dramatic.
During this class, the instructor, an experienced travel photographer, offers tips tailored to each participant’s interest and provides one-on-one guidance as students explore their practice.Students can bring their smartphone,DSLR or mirrorless camera. Class is held rain or shine.
